It is unfortunate when other people have the ability to discourage us from taking positive steps into our future. Thankfully, when I start to feel this way, I turn to Dolly Parton and instantly feel better.

As female entrepreneurs we cannot let others define the roll we play in our businesses. We cannot shorten our dreams just because outsiders cannot understand our full potential.

We must rely on something more; we must rely on ourselves. Our brains tell our feet to walk, so therefore, only we are capable of determining the path we take. So where are you leading yourself?
